Tutor Terms & Code of Conduct

Punctuality & Attendance

• Join every class on time, with a stable internet connection and a quiet background.
• Inform the academy at least 4 hours in advance if unable to teach; every missed class is made up.

Professional Conduct

• Dress modestly and maintain respectful Islamic manners at all times.
• Use kind, encouraging language; never shout at, insult or embarrass a student.
• Follow the academy syllabus and the student's personal learning plan.

Child Safeguarding

• Never request a private, unsupervised meeting with a child.
• Communicate about scheduling and progress only with parents or guardians, through official academy channels.
• Never ask students for personal information, photos or social media contact.
• Report any safeguarding concern to the academy immediately.

Privacy & Recording

• Never record a class without written permission from the parent (or adult student).
• Keep all student information confidential.

Teaching Standards

• Correct every recitation mistake clearly and patiently.
• Complete monthly progress reports accurately.
• Take part in academy training and accept class observations.

Consequences

Breaking these terms may lead to warnings, removal from a student, or termination. Safeguarding breaches lead to immediate removal.
