How Our Hifz Method Works
Successful Hifz is built on three daily parts, the same method used in traditional madrasas:
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sabaq | The new lesson memorized today |
| Sabqi | Revision of the most recent portion (usually the last few pages or juz) |
| Manzil | Revision of older memorized portions so nothing is forgotten |
Your tutor sets targets for all three and adjusts them to the student's age, ability and schedule.
Who Can Join?
- Children (usually 7+) who can already read the Quran fluently with basic Tajweed
- Adults who want to memorize selected surahs or the complete Quran
- Huffaz who want help with revision (Dor) and keeping their Hifz strong
Flexible Hifz Plans
- Juz Amma Hifz: ideal first goal for kids and adults
- Selected surahs: Yaseen, Al-Mulk, Al-Kahf, Ar-Rahman and others
- Complete Quran: full Hifz with a long-term plan
- Revision only: for Huffaz who want to stay consistent
How Long Does Hifz Take?
It depends on daily time and consistency. A student who memorizes about one page a day and revises properly can often complete the Quran in around two to three years, while many students take three to five years. Read our guide: How long does it take to memorize the Quran?
