Many students ask what the best time to memorize the Quran is. The honest answer: the best time is the one you can keep every day. That said, some times are especially effective.
After Fajr
Traditionally, many madrasas begin Hifz after Fajr. The mind is fresh, the house is quiet and there are fewer distractions. Many teachers recommend this time for the new lesson (Sabaq).
Before Sleep
Reviewing what you memorized shortly before sleeping can help reinforce it. Many students read their next day's lesson at night, then memorize it after Fajr.

A Sample Day for a School Student
| Time | Activity |
|---|---|
| After Fajr (20โ30 min) | Memorize the new lesson |
| After school (online class) | Recite Sabaq and Sabqi to the teacher |
| Evening (15 min) | Manzil revision |
| Before sleep (5 min) | Read tomorrow's lesson |
